Nisin is a natural polypeptide antibacterial produced by strains of Lactococcus lactis subsp lactis.

Nisin from Yotabio is a fermentation-based antimicrobial product against spores and different type of gram-positive(G+) spoilage and pathogenic bacteria like Bacillus cereus and Listeria monocytogenes. It doesn’t react/protect against gram-negative(G-) bacteria, moulds, yeasts.
